You guys should see our TBG print issue -- it looks great! I heard from my editor that my story's spread was the best, but I dunno. It's definitely one of the best, hehe. The Launch Party itself was great; it was at the Green River Café on M.A.C. I have a lot of good photos from it on Facebook and stuff. My editor wrote us all (all of her section writers) a lovely note and we got chocolate and heard some cool music (I meant to get a picture of the band). Kim came up for it and we ended up playing Checkers and Chess. then we went to eat at Denny's, which was awesome 'cause we played this Marry-Fuck-Kill game. This is how the game goes:
You only need one other person, but it's more fun in a larger group. Anyway, one person gives you 3 people to choose from and you have to pick which one you'd marry, which one you'd fuck, and which one you'd kill. You can just keep going around the circle/group and pick a person to give 3 people to (the 3 people don't have to be celebrities either -- they can be friends or whoever).
eg. For Me = Omarion, Usher, Chris Brown
- I'd marry Omarion
- I'd fuck Usher
- I'd kill Chris Brown
It's just a fun little exercise to see where you rank certain people. The one you'd marry is the one you love more than anyone else, the one you'd fuck is the one you think is sexy as hell but all you'd want to do is have sex with them, and the one you'd kill is the one you could care less about (pretty much). With the three guys I have above I had a hard decision to make, 'cause I like Chris Brown a lot. The person you'd kill isn't necessarily someone you hate (they can be), but it's the person who doesn't fit the "marry" or "fuck" bill. It's a cool game to play if you're bored, haha.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna end this one here but I'll write again soon. Toddles! :P
