Rather depressing updates
Well, I've got a little upsetting news to report. First off, the Tigers lost the World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals. I'm kinda sad 'cause I was rooting for them; they came so far! Anyway, the Tigers accomplished a lot by even making it to the World Series, so we have to congratulate them on that at least.
Also, Kim's got a new Apartment-sitting responsibility coming up soon, so the Canada trip is gonna have to be put on hold. No worries there; there'll be more opportunities. Besides, that means I can buy my Bluetooth since I don't need to save up money for anything any time soon.
We went up to CMU (Central Michigan University) today; we were taking my sister there to compete for this Centralis scholarship (a couple hundred kids take an essay exam). It wasn't bad, but their campus looked really small compared to MSU. They bragged a lot about the numerous opportunities you could take advantage of and stuff, and I dunno...I wasn't impressed, hehe.
Oh, and I'm kinda swamped this weekend. My priorities are the second midterm for my Shakespeare Lit class, and my Specialty Beat Memo for journalism...I don't have either of these done yet. I can't forget about watching "Henry V" either; I have to get that done by Tuesday. Oh well, I'm quite confident in the fact that I can get 'em all done when they need to get done. I should probably get back to both, so I'll end this here and write more later. TTFN.
