Debates & Sports

The Tigers are fairing well in their game tonight; the score remains 5-0 in the eighth Inning. I'm excited for them, and I wish I could be in Detroit right now -- I hear they're celebrating like mad down there since the Tigers got into the playoffs. Not only that, but they eliminated the Yankees...and the Yankees were supposed to be unbeatable. At least some teams can win games (ahem! Lions and Spartans, haha).

If you're wondering about the Gubernatorial Debate, I'm liking Granholm. Piotr doesn't like her, but after the debate she seemed like the only one who knew what she was talking about. DeVos had some really good ideas, but I didn't like this statement he made: "The best way to get health care is to have a job." I understand he's trying to create jobs, but not everyone in Michigan will have a job, but we all need to be covered medically somehow. I'm still kinda undecided though...

We need to finalize this New Year's Eve thing soon. If neither of us (I mean Kim or me) talks to Sara soon, we're just gonna have to count her out. I hate to do that to her of course, but the hotels are gonna be booked for New Year's Eve pretty soon. Of course, there'll be more opportunities before Kim and I turn 21 to go across the border...there's always Spring Break.

Hmmm...I think I'm gonna end here. I think I should try to go to bed a little earlier; maybe then I won't be so sleepy in the morning. So, GOODNIGHT! I'll write more when there's more to write.
