Trip went bust
Okay, so it looks like we're not going to Arizona. LAD completely pulled out of the EJC in protest of that new immigration law, so my mom's ticket and the resort isn't paid for by them anymore. My mom decided she doesn't wanna go to Phoenix and try to make it for two weeks 'cause we'd have to find new lodging and she'd have to reimburse LAD for her plane ticket. Auntie Pat isn't gonna be around either, so there really isn't much point in going if they're not sending her.
She also said my ticket can be used for something else. I can use it to go anywhere in the US before May 11, 2011. I'll see if any of my friends wanna fly anywhere, I have a lot of options. It kinda sucks though; I was really looking forward to going to Phoenix. I suppose this is another one of those times where I have to look for the good in the bad, but it's always hard at first. I'll get somewhere eventually though.
