So my sister's home for the holidays! We went to see "Avatar" this afternoon and it was great. Those blue na'vi are the coolest things ever. I would love to have an avatar; I could interact directly with the na'vi on Pandora and breathe the atmosphere and I'd be 11 feet fall and everything! It was awesome, lol. It took place in the future too, and that always earns a movie a bonus.
The wildlife they came up with was awesome too -- weird birds and rhinos and jaguars and all kinds of stuff! The evil American capitalists were realistic too. They were after the unobtanium (silvery sort of metal rock) that was worth $20 million a kilo. It was buried underneath the Hometree for the na'vi and Jake's job was to talk the native na'vi into abandoning the tree so the greedy humans could get at it.
I liked the ending too; they tapped into na'vi mating (Jake and his little chick had sex) and it was just an awesome movie all around. I recommend it to anyone who likes Sci-Fi and adventure and imaginative stuff. I think I'm done for now, but I'll write again soon. See ya!
