Busy Saturday!
So I went a few places today and it flew by like crazy! I didn't wake up and eat breakfast until noon. Then my old middle school friend had a baby shower so I decided to make an appearance there. Her daughter is so beautiful! We had good food, including a big piece of very sugary cake. We played some cool games too, and I had a good time! I was just disappointed I hadn't gotten there earlier and stayed longer.
I had to leave 'cause I went to a networking affair at the Detroit Native Sun. There were only five of us ladies there, but it was cool all the same. They all have business of their own and they all made their own living. Luckily I made some contacts!
Anyway, that was my day today. Geneva's having a birthday celebration tonight downtown but I'm not in the mood...plus the Caribana drained me of money so I'm waiting for another payday before I do any clubbing. Hehe, I'm a cheapskate I know.
