Final Four!
So, I know I'm all stressed out about this whole job search shit but I've got one major thing on the horizon; the Michigan State Spartans made it to the 2009 Final Four!!!
I'm so excited for those boys. They beat Louisville 64-52 and earned a trip to the Motor City for the Final Four. The actually dominated most of the game...sort of. Louisville hung in there for a while, but eventually we broke out relatively wide.
I was so happy for them! They earned their trip to the Final Four. They played lock-down defense against Louisville and the Cardinals couldn't handle it. They dropped 103 points on Arizona in the Sweet Sixteen and people thought they were unbeatable. Well Cardinal fans -- and everyone else who thought Louisville was invincible -- the Spartans aren't fooling around. Anybody playing the Spartans better get ready for a game.
Having said that, congratulations Spartans! I couldn't have written a better storyline myself. So they got the Big Ten Championship and got to the Final Four. Everything else is icing on the cake man! It's gravy from here baby, as long as they don't embarrass themselves against anyone. I'm sure they won't though; they work too hard.
Kim is working on Saturday evening when the Spartans are playing in their Final Four game. How fucking lame is that?? Gosh, I'd quit that shit if I were her ass. Forget that shit, that would piss me off lol. Even if MSU hadn't made it I'd still want the weekend free 'cause the Final Four is in her city! Too bad for her, haha. My dad and I are gonna be watching it. Maybe I'll get Ashley to come to Buffalo Wild Wings (B-dubs) with me or something.
My dad and I are going to Ford Field to watch the Spartans practice on Friday at noon. Kim's working all day so she won't be able to do anything. Maybe next year girl!
We did actually go up to East Lansing this weekend though. We were too late for the rally the team held at the Brez (which was our purpose for going up there in the middle of the motherfucking night), but we did get to see our girl Sara who we haven't seen in fucking years (literally). So the whole trip wasn't a total bust. The only reason we did it was 'cause the boys made it to the Final Four.
