Recent Happenings
Okay, so, the first update is depressing: my husband Omari (yes, he's still my baby and I still love him) and Bow Weezy have pushed their album Face Off back all the way to February 2008 (they're shooting for Valentine's Day). It really fucking makes me mad -- I was so ready for the fourth quarter (December 4th). Bow claims that the video for their first single "Hoodstar" is coming soon, but I dunno if I trust him anymore (I trust my man though, of course haha). Oh well...it'll be worth it I guess. I'll still be picking it up.
The second update is much happier; I completed Izzone Camp Out 2007 this past weekend!! It was a lot of fun, my friend and I camped out together. I got pics with a lot of the players, but not all of them; Idong Ibok was flirting with this girl so we gave up, Travis Walton wasn't there 'cause he was watching his little bro play a football game, and we didn't know who the two new guys were (in addition to the incoming freshman), but other than that we got them all!
We took pics with Drew Naymick, Drew Neitzel, Raymar Morgan, Marquise Gray, Durrell Summers, Kalin Lucas, Chris Allen, Isaiah Dahlman, Goran Suton, and Tom Herzog. Also, we got a pic with the coach himself! It was pretty exciting. Drew Naymick got up on stage and sang his heart out -- he wasn't half bad (I have a video of that, which I put on YouTube and Facebook, haha). But yeah, overall I had a great time camping out for my lowerbowl tickets.
It's kinda sad that this is my last year in the Izzone -- it's been such a huge part of my life. Of course I'll still be watching the games and everything, but it won't be the same. I'm definitely gonna make the most of this year. I'm trying to play catch-up with my homework too, so I'll write later on tonight when I get back from my group meeting. See Ya.
