(no subject)
This is basically a total self-congratulatory post, but damnit, I'm proud of myself so you all get to listen! :D
I just finished writing the first draft of the final chapter of the body of my thesis! After this, the only big chunk of writing I have left to do is conclusions and then I'll do a few additions here and there throughout the intro and body chapters and line-edit for clarity. The real excitement is that I'm actually really proud of what I've written. I'm the biggest nerd ever and actually really enjoy writing research papers and the like, but usually when I've finished something I know it's good or mediocre or whatever, but I've not put real actual strenuous effort into it. This I have worked my ass off on, so it feels like an actual accomplishment, which is a fantastic natural high I have to say.
So, this chapter, weighing in at just over 25 pages and the longest I've written, puts me at a total of 115 pages and over 46,000 words since November. Good lord I am good. :D
