Day 1: "One of the best lessons life has taught you"
You will always find a way around the mountain, even if it wasn't the way you were planning.
I know I have talked about the fact that I was student teaching when I was in my last semester of college. However I don't think that I have talked about the events that led me to learn this lesson. Just a few days before Thanksgiving 2011 I was pulled from student teaching. I had three weeks left.
I had a really hard time dealing with the fact that my lifelong dream was crumbling around me. I had always wanted to be a teacher, and I still do. Some good friends of mine reminded me that even though things looked really down, that I would find a way around the mountain. I am still looking for that way, but I know that if I keep searching, I will find it.
