Oh how the butterflies in my stomach want me to vomit!
I don't understand why I get so jittery before a big event like this trip. I must have checked my carry-on bag six times before leaving home today to make sure my passport was in there and another three to make sure it was still valid. How silly, huh?
There's just a few items that need to go from the carry-on into my regular suitcase because I don't need to be 'discarding' them at the security check and then having to buy them in France.
Good news, I checked the value of the Euro against the dollar and it's UP! Currently sitting at a whopping .66 Euro to our all-mighty dollar. Hey, it's better than it was a few days ago- around .60
So this time tomorrow, Nick and I should be just relaxing (or even sleeping) in the townhome in France. It's going to be a long 10.5 hour flight (direct, no stops) via Delta (Air France).
If you were wondering where it is we're staying, just click the linky:
Our Paris Home for the week It's a 3 bedroom townhome and only one of those bedrooms will be used... Anyone with last minute tickets to Paris?
Keep an eye out here on the 'ol LJ for pictures and updates. I'm trying to limit my use of the iPhone postings, but Nick will have the laptop with him and we'll keep you posted at least in the evenings!
Bon Voyage amores!
