Success!
Well, last night after work a friend of mine and I went out for a bit of Halloween costume shopping.....
I manged to find exactly what I wanted with a few accessories!!
The added bonus is when I went to have everything rung up I figured it would have been around $60 / $70 total. When I got my receipt it was only $35!! I noticed that I wasn't charged for the biggest part of the costume... Well, it actually WAS the costume as I was only charged for the accessories! What a deal!
After getting home from that bit of shopping, I managed to find a few more additions and I think I've got quite a funny, yet functional (and cheap) costume suitable to wear at work and spend the evening in WeHo.
So now it's just a matter of putting it all together....
No pictures yet and only maybe two of my LJ readers actually have a clue of what the costume is.... For everyone else, I'm playing the Dom and you'll all have to wait (bwahahahahahaha!)....
As a side note, the boss is out again today as he had to visit the Emergency Room yesterday for a "guy problem". He actually told me what it was and all I can say to him was that I can sympathize as I had something similar happen to me a few years back (my LJ'rs know what I went through-- twice!). So hopefully he'll have a good recovery and allot of pain killers!
