This week's matchup between our Wildcats and John I. Burton is going to be a hard fought game. Everybody knows our boys are going to come out hard and play with a lot of heart since it is Senior Night. We, also, know our seniors don't want the last game they play at PHS to be a loss, and they are determined to win. Burton has yet to lose a game this year, but hopefully when this Friday night rolls around our boys will hand them their first loss. I talked to Senior Ryan Vanover earlier today about the game Friday, and when asked if the wildcats would win on Friday he replied, "Yeah!, We've just gotta play our game on every play!"
As of right now, our guys are in 4th place in Division 1, they are going to have to win some games to guarantee a spot in the playoffs. They are only 3 points ahead of Rye Cove, so who goes to the playoffs is up for grabs. The Coalfield has predicted Norton to beat us 20-16. So let's prove the Dope Bucket wrong, and win!
So Everybody better come out and support our Pound Wildcats! And guys, when you step out on that field Friday Night give it all you got and show those Raiders what you're made of!
*** Also, if anybody gets a chance the PHS Girls Basketball team is having a Spaghetti Dinner tomorrow before the game! A plate is $5, so if you get a chance stop by and support your Lady Wildcats!
