Saturday Steve and I went to Folsom Lake and went fishing, and I jumped in and went swimming with all of my clothes on :P I had a lot of fun, but I got water in my ear while I was swimming, and it didn't come out. I got home and put peroxide in my ear and the water didn't come out when I drained it. So, I tried gently finessing it out with a Q-Tip and I guess I compacted some wax hiding out in the very rear of my ear (I clean my ears EVERY day thank you), and after that I couldn't hear shit.
I was going insane not being able to hear out of one ear, so I went to the rapid care center that is about a minute away from my place, and had my ears reamed out. I payed my $30.00 co-pay, and waited about an hour to have water sprayed into my ears, nothing more. It sucks that I had to pay so much for some high velocity water to be sprayed in my ear, but I can hear again, so that's a good thing.
I think my rotors are warped. If I am driving 45mph or faster and I apply the brakes my front end and steering column start to shake and shimmy. It's been getting progressively worse, and its starting to scare the shit out of me when I have to suddenly brake on the freeway going 85mph. I need to have it fixed, but I am hesitant to take it into a shop because I know they are going to fuck me over. I'd prefer to have a friend do it. There's more money down the crapper.
I am friends with the son of the manager of the apartments I live at, and I was telling him yesterday that I've been thinking about moving because I want a dog, and he went and talked to his mother after we spoke and later that day he told me that she said we could get one!!!!!! YAY!!! They've been so god damn stubborn about no pets, but I said from the get go that I would gladly put a deposit down and take full responsibility for the dog and any damage that it causes, but they've always said no. I knew if I told him I was going to move he'd try his hardest to help me out. He really likes wyvern and I, he doesn't want us to move. Now I have to find out how much they want for a deposit, and start saving for my French Bulldog.
I am a bit torn on whether or not to subject a dog to living in an apartment when wyvern and I work during the weekdays. French Bulldogs are ideal apartment dogs, they don't do well outdoors, and the dog would get more than ample love when we get home, but I'd always be worried about it and wondering if it is lonely during the daytime. I might have to have wyvern hook up some security cameras and link it to a website so I can check up on it during the day. My maternal instincts are in full gear though, and I want something to nurture - but not a baby, no sir not yet.
