Mmmm ginger cookies and tea
My day at work has been long and arduous (as you can tell as it's before 5pm and I'm tip-tapping away on this thing!) and I'm just about ready to go home. Tonight on the plans - spaghetti bolognese for three. Yeah, me and Kev are feeding Joe once again. Thought it was only fair as Joe will soon be housing Kev, never mind cooking his dinner!
I'm quite looking forward to Kev moving into Joe's. Mine and Joe's relationship has always been a little awkward...we both met Kev around the same time so for the first few months, it sort of felt like we were competing for him (Joe probably doesn't think that at all but that's how it seemed!) But since Joe decided to take my poor Kevin under his wing, things have really picked up between us. It's more like he's my friend as well, not just 'my boyfriend's mate'. I have far too many of those. And while yeah, Kev and I will probably spend less time together to begin with, I think the three of us will have a laugh.
In other news, I'm well looking forward to the three day weekend! Woo for Bank Holidays. Three lovely lie ins in a row. Although we're thinking of hitting Wellesbourne Market Saturday morning - in hope that the crowds will go on Monday! - and trying to find some bits for holiday. Four weeks on Saturday and I'll be on the plane to Gran Canaria. I can't wait for the sunshine!
Anyway, incase you're thinking it's been a long old time since you heard from me on here, well...you'd be right. It's been bloody years! I've decided (for about the fourth or fifth time) that I'm going to start using this damned thing again. Every day for the past few weeks there have been things happening that I want to write about. Seeing as I'm too lazy to hand write in a notebook and not sharing my feelings with the world would be simply criminal, here I am. ♥
