I love music, I'll just start with that. I listen to my iPhone for 8 hours a day at work, most of the time on random play. I own way too many cd's to count, and can get lost in words a little to easily. You have an emotion? I have the song! You have a book/movie/fanfic? I have the song. Having a wedding/funeral/birthday/road trip? I'll do a mix!! I love music, and I can go from happy to crying in seconds if the song right song plays.

I've decided to do a few mini meme lists in this one, because I can't choose one song.

  • This is my holiday 2009 song!! It was on the radio almost hourly when I was in the states, so happy memories!
• Party In the USA - Miley
  • The above reason....and I'm embarrassed to say we sung our little hearts out to this each time it came on the radio!!
• On Call - Kings of Leon
  • I just love it, no reason!
• Proud - Susan Boyle
  • I'm a sucker....and the lyrics are slightly haunting. It's someone begging for acceptance, for someone to be proud of them, so that tugs at me a bit.
• Last Christmas - Wham
  • WHAM! need I say more???????
• Sigh No More - Mumford And Sons
  • Just listen!!

• Adia - Sarah McLachlanI
  • I love Sarah's music and she would have to be my favourite female ever. Almost every song evokes emotion in me, but Adia is just one that kills me. She sang it as the last song at the concert I went to in 2005 and I was so happy, I almost cried. I clearly remember it, my sister stood by me and held my hand as she sang as she knew it was MY song and I wanted it so much to be sung. Anyway Sarah is more amazing live and I can't wait to she tours again!
• My Oh My - David Gray
  • Again he's amazing live and this is just the most perfect song for me. Saw him about a week before I went overseas in a small concert and he amazed me once again for how much he gets into the music.
• Desire - Ryan Adams
  • I have so many fav Ryan songs, but this is my No 1 (I think!). Again amazing live, it not a little cooky!
• It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference - Allison Krauss
  • I love the entire Forget About It cd, but this one stands out, I don't like all of Allison's work, some is just too twangy and blues, but this cd is a little different.
• Why - Annie Lennox
  • For these lyrics alone - This is the book I never read
