[The first thing visible is what appears to be a lobstrosity. At first, it maneuvers its way up to the communicator and seems interested in the screen. This goes on for several minutes as it knocks the device to the ground and looks it over rather thoroughly. In the distance, there's faint yelling, and then:]
GET OFF.
[Electricity is evident in the air by the crackle and the flash of light in the corner of the screen. The creature scuttles off. Something black enters the screen and then the communicator is picked up. A flash of red spikes is seen and then Reno's face...and then his hand, brushing off the sand.]
Lousy piece of crap.
[He pauses, realizes it's on, and grins. He taps the communicator twice.]
Hey. When I said I wanted a vacation, I didn't mean a dump like this. I want a refund, dammit.
