I'm so glad I showed up at work at 7.40 this morning so that I could NOT do the all-day test I was supposed to do, because the fucking sample didn't come.
Now I have to come in just as early, if not earlier, TOMORROW so that I can test it and get out in time to go to Chris's graduation.
Chris keeps telling me to remember that this time next week I'll be lying in the sand drinking a margarita, or whatever. But you know what? Those two days of vacation have been TOO LONG DESERVED to be a bright spot in my fucking miserable cloudy-ass day.
Rainy days are for sleeping in, not getting up at the butt-crack of not-quite-so-dark-anymore. Especially not when both days promise to be exceptionally long.
