giving thanks

As most are wont to do this time of year, I'd like to mention a few things I'm grateful for.

I'm thankful for:

• a warm and loving home
  
• the best sweetie in the world
  
• an adorable, smart and healthy kid
  
• a family that loves me, and a family-in-law that loves me too
  
• my friends, near and far, who I miss far too often and see far too little
  
• a job that gives me enough money to live comfortably
  
• finally fucking paying down my debts and starting to restore my credit
  
• finally fucking being "on my own" -- with my own car (not "bought" from my parents) and whatnot
  
• being in a place that I can be happy with, both physically and mentally
  
• being happy and healthy and getting healthier
  
• having a sweetie AND a cat to snuggle up to, and blankets to snuggle under when it's cold
