i had my followup with the neurosurgeon today.

i am now free to do anything i want, at my discretion.

i should work back up to where i was, so i shouldn't be, like, taking on another move as just us, but i can do things normally again. the doctor just said to be conscious of what i'm doing so that i don't replicate the injury.

YAY! it's over!
