What would possess a filmmaker (who actually wanted to make money on his films, that is) to make a movie about accepting death? Seriously, who in the world finds it ENTERTAINING to watch a movie about trying and failing to prevent the loss of someone you love? I mean, yeah, everyone needs a good cry once in a while, but for fuck's sake, I'd rather watch a good overall movie that just happened to make me cry rather than a movie whose entire purpose is to do that!
