Christmas has finally hit me.
These are awesome. I made the cutest star-shaped brownies for Christmas Eve. We wanted to make star-shaped cornbread for last night's chili, but apparently we don't have any cornmeal or cornbread mix in the house.
I am in the middle of making a fuckton of cookies for Christmas Eve as well. I was hoping to give some to my families again, too; we'll see how far I get.
I need to find my Christmas music.
Edit 2:00 PM: 4 batches of Toll House cookies (3 with variations on the semi-sweet chip theme, 1 with peanut butter and chocolate chips) made. 1 big plate for the grandparents, 6 bags for families, plus most of the PB ones for here. I've already got 1 batch of brownies (the stars -- I got 14, probably could have done 12, but I felt like having more instead of thicker), plus chocolate and yellow cupcakes. The chocolate cupcakes are iced; the yellow ones will be a small project for me and my kid tomorrow afternoon. Sugar cookie dough is in the fridge, to be baked tomorrow morning before we leave (should be able to bake them in a little over an hour if I'm not too crazy on the shapes).
