To Those Who Have Lost Someone...

Sep 01, 2008 22:08

I was just informed a moment ago by my closest friend that his brother (another close friend) will be taken off of life support tomorrow at 10:00am.  I know all to well what it feels like to lose someone, but I feel even worse knowing that it hasn't happened yet.  Knowing that all I can do is wait.  Knowing not what it feels like to be the parent of a child on his/her death bed.

My friend and his brother are like family to me and knowing that one is about to die feels so unbelievably painful.  It hurts to remember the past things we've done together and yet it feels good to remember the good times we had together.  I feel horrible knowing I can't help but wait for the plug to be pulled.  But I especially can't help imagening what the parents of a dying child feel.  My friends are my family.  James and Brian are my brothers.  May God guide you to the gates of Heaven.  So long Brian.

Rest In Peace Brian
                 God Bless You

brothers, brian
