Happy November to... um... whoever still reads my LJ posts.  It's been a while, hasn't it?  I got a new icon, thanks to Jeff, who was very very bored and decided to become a contract furry artist :3  Jeff, I hope you're not reading this part.

Things have been busy as usual.  I've done a lot of stuff in the last few weeks... a few trips to RPI, a few to Long Island, and Furfright '08.  I also did some major work on my bedroom, with a lot of help from Tom.  Gave the walls and ceiling a fresh coat of paint, put in a nice new carpet, rearragned furniture (some went into the attic and some came out of the attic), cleaned a lot (must've filled three large garbage bags with old stuff I don't need anymore), and bought curtain material.  I've been doing a good amount of yardwork too, getting the massive amount of leaves off our lawn and over to the street for pickup.

As for upcoming stuff, there's not so much.  Things are calming down and I need to focus my time on work with my father, saving my money, and working on my game project.  I'm doing a trip this weekend to see some people, but that's about it.  The days of driving to RPI every few weeks is over for now, because honestly I realized I was spending so much on gas driving myself and others around that it was literally going to empty my already tiny bank account.

So yeah, priorities now are pretty much working on the game with Jeff, and working with my father.  Work with dad is a bit stressful, just because the projects aren't being very cooperative right now.  But I'm getting good money, and now that I'm paying my car insurance, student loans, and a few other bills, I need the money.  The game is coming along well too.  I've got a few models, and maybe I'll post renders of them in a couple days.

So, tomorrow will be fun, eh?  First time I'll be voting at home, now that I'm done with RPI.  Before I say anything else, I'd like to say that regardless of who you're voting for, just vote.  Preferably, vote with some sort of understanding of the candidates.  Really now guys.  Now honestly, I never liked either candidate - not as people, but as political figures.  But I see Obama as the greater of the two evils, and in the end, that's determining my vote.  His tax plans actually scare me - my father earns just enough to put us in the $150k+ bracket, and the means we're going to get screwed to hell and back.  It's not like we have heavy bills to pay enough, or anything like that.  Then there's his views/goals/opinions of the coal industry, religion, overseas... ugh, I hate thinking about politics.  I'll be so glad when tomorrow is over with.

Hm, what else.  Everything's pretty good overall, I suppose.  I hit a pretty solid depression a few weeks ago... almost ended up having to see a psychologist, because I was starting to get really really miserable.  Its still an option, but I think I'm sorta feeling better.  I've been trying to keep in shape; eating as healthy as I can, and exercizing whenever I can fit it in.  As scary as it is, I fit into small/x-small shirts now (depending on brand), and 28/30 pants are comfortable on me.  What the efffff guys.

*yawns* I'm pretty tired... I need to get to bed shortly anyway, since I got work with dad tomorrow, and the sleep problems are still messing with me.
