Isis isn't a bad name, it's got more glamour and respect than 'professor bumble-fuck'.

I think the other cats miss her, a few at least seem much more attention wanting now... maybe they fear leaving, anyway, how's the cat adapting to her new home??? I would quite like to know....

also, we've used this arm & hammer litter de-oderizor (found at target) that makes the shit less stinky, and it seems to work ok, so if you have that problem you might wanna look into it... i don't know how bad it would be, for us awful but we've got seven (six now i guess) cats shitting in one box....

anyway, gums are bleeding and my head aches so i'm gonna go....

Hi Jason.

We named her Isis because it's an Egyptian goddess' name (I think of the dawn?) and you know the Egyptians liked their cats. She is doing fine; been pretty sleepy and easily startled. Turns out there are still a few fleas left and some eggs, so we may pick up some advantage tomorrow or try a flea bath. Not many left but those fuckers jump fast! We've been trying to dig them out with a flea comb. We bought one of those litter boxes with the lid on top so that seems to work out pretty well, but I'd be willing to give the deodorizer a try. Everything is going just fine here; how are you feeling? That is too bad that the other kittens miss her; she too has been doing this sad, pathetic little mew but I think she's adjusting just fine.

Actually, that cat mewed before... so i don't think that's anything out of her usual, unless it's more persistent, but not being there myself i couldn't tell you... anyway, the pains ok... sometimes it comes back, and so bad... the other night at work i started crying, it hurt so bad, i had to leave early... sucked... anyway, i just noticed a couple more fleas on some of our kittens too and i think it's because they were in our appartment (as well as on the cats) and that advantage worked well, we were only able to give her one application of that stuff (and i guess you're supposed to do two or three over a two-three month period to ensure they're dead) but it was too soon to do your cat again when you took her, anyway tho... i gotta get goin to work before i'm late but i've got next weekend open, i think, so if it was ok in your schedual i might be able to stop by next weekend but i have to check my schedual again tonight.

oh also, if you can do something other than flea bathe, if it's not too late to mention, they REALLY hate baths... with a fucking passion, so anything to avoid that and leave it as a last of the last measures the better, in my oppinion, (those clawed little buggers can squirm like you couldn't imagine).
