Bye Bye Okcupid
Well, I did something I haven't done before:
I have deleted my okcupid.com profile. I've been on there since 2004...and even started up a second account.
I had already nixed plentyoffish. I was sick of getting reminders of "hey, your newest matches are in" emailes. I will be deleting polymatchmaker soon too. I am still on fetlife, but I am hardly on there. Work has made it nearly impossible for me to go to any events unless they're on a saturday night.
I had already made a note on okcupid that i was seeking only friends. But it felt weird to have a profile on a dating site when I've met the love of my life and we are exclusive with each other. I have no desire for anyone else. And the 4 emails in my box pretty much notates that no one really reads my profile that well.
This is a big step for me, but its about time.
