I took my first outdoor swim of the year today! :D We went to a lake called Västersjön with Sam's parents today, and I forced myself to take a dip. At first it felt like the water was freezing, but after like ten minutes of doubting, I finally take the plunge, and after only being submerged for a few seconds, I find that I really enjoy it. The water wasn't cold at all. It was actually quite warm. How odd. I swam a few hundred meters before getting up again.
Darn, I forgot to write about last Saturday. It was a horse show on the riding school, and I was there and helped out. I "drove" a carriage pulled by a shetland pony, and it was awesome! Makes me want to force mom to buy a shetland pony. XD
I also helped out with the "pony riding". It was extremely hot that day, so I burned my shoulders, of course. (the rest of me is still quite pale :( )
I took a bunch of pictures there, and I'm really satisfied with a few of them. I think they turned out great!
See for youself. ;)
This is the little shetland pony I "drove".
One of the mares at the riding school - Electra.
One of the PRE stallions they showed on the show. (it's a spanish horse)
Here's that stallion again, in action.
Tip of the day:
Never leave a candy bag in the car if you have chocolate in the bag
Quote of the day:
"If heaven had a soundtrack, Jon Anderson would be on vocals." - unknown
(anyone who has heard him sing live knows that's true)
