ok. so...
tiffany and i went to the fair. it was...greasy...and...fair...y.
i saw CARLY BOLAND there (HAHAHA)...oh man. she was really really really drunk. i promised not to tell alison, but...she knew i would. it was so funny. she was really not obnoxious when she was drunk too so that was very impressive! we rode the swings! the swings, to me, epitomize everything that is right with life and the world, ever. and if anyone is unhappy while riding them (or tired. or scared) then they clearly dont know how to enjoy life correctly.
we also rode that big...boat...thing. and the zipper, which should be called the...nauseator.
now, the zipper, to me, is one of the strangest conceived fair-rides ever. its like some guy was like "ok...we're gonna take a track...and make it go up and down. and then....we'll put the people in cages and while the cages are going up and down, they will also haphazardly and violently flip and turn and twist and such!"...
thats so bizaare. thatd be like taking a rollercoaster and making the carts roll around while they went around the track. infact....thats exactly what itd be like. or maybe taking a ferris wheel, making the seats into cages, and the having it go REALLY FAST while the cages swung around and upside down. yes, thats more like it!
it scared the fuck out of me. but...
in retrospect it kinda ruled a lot.
it was a fun-time, ill say! but we DIDNT GET TO RIDE THE FERRIS WHEEL! which i actually hate riding, a lot, but thats not the point.
haha, oh well. all is well that ends well. all is also well that ends slightly embarrassingly ill attempted, but i am happy and thats whats kickass about today!
i drove back at like....12. i made it home to senatobia in 2 hours and 15 minutes. and why?? becuase RED BULL GIVES YOU WINGS. thats what i drank to stay awake and lo and behold it kinda worked. so ill have to remember that!
i got out of work early today cause it was so sloooowww. i only made 40$ in tips. i didnt have a table at all for like an hour. it was ridiculous.
everything is great!
and by god the new belle and sebastian album is absofuckinglutely amazing. i didnt think it was as good on the first few listens. like i thought it was good. exceptional even, but now im starting to realize everything about it that makes it so incredibly well crafted and amazing. its definitely not their best or anything, but i think it kicks "fold you hands child"'s ass far off into some other place. its great.
id like to hang out with april and lindsay tonight, if theyre doing anything?
