oh how i missed the far side from 2002 through 2006. and will after this year as well.

so, my life. i still have paris to summarize and editorialize, but not today. we'll instead lead off with the weather. obviously.

it's cold. like, scrape my windows in the morning cold. it made for an interesting few minutes the other morning as i attempted to figure out where i stowed the scraper for summer storage. it's been topping out in the single digits since last week, with lows teasing the negatives. it is, however, supposed to warm back up to the mid-teens by the end of the week. paradise.

i didn't do too much this weekend. about the only thing that i actually accomplished was organizing my euro change. though i was originally not a huge fan of the euro-change, i've warmed up to it. it's nice to be able to swing a few drinks on a pocket of change. i will say, however, that a stint in deutschland will not change the fact that i am a credit card guy. we won't discuss the exchange rate.

i did watch a lot of football. obviously. arsenal won again and are still unbeaten on the season. eintracht got waxed and sv wehen wiesbaden, in the first match at their new stadium, lost to mainz.

the visit to the eagle's nest has inspired me to watch band of brothers again.

it appears that vonage is now being sued by at&t. in addition to cisco. and their own shareholders. i'm very pleased with skype, who is being sued by no one.

i'm not sure what's for supper. i had originally got out some polish sausage to fix some spaghetti, but i had greek for lunch so i'm not overly hungry. but what else is there? i'd fix tacos, but i don't have sour cream. chili would be excellent, but again, don't have it. it's really time for a grocery run, and this time it's not even laziness. i've already got my cash allocated to pay this month's credit card bill, billing date of wednesday, and i don't feel like moving the beans around again. well i guess that's still kind of laziness, but at least a different kind.

well i suppose i'll get on that. beautiful evening, amis.
