"Korea's top actress Lee Sungmin is finally back from the U.S.A.!" The reporter's voice roared through the television's sound system, catching the attention of the man who woke up as soon as he heard the news.
"After 5 years of working with Hollywood actors and actresses, modeling for international brands and bringing home awards here and there, Lee Sungmin has finally come home for good. Rumors have it that her comeback project will be a movie and she will be starring alongside Choi Siwon. This has been Kim Ryewook, MBC News."
"Minnie..." The man whispered as he gaped at the television screen and focused on the lovely lady until she made her way into a car.
"Kyuhyun! Breakfast is ready" A woman's voice echoed from the kitchen, making the said man come back to reality as a few teardrops escaped from his eyes.
"I'm coming!" Kyuhyun yelled back from the living room as he wiped his tears and stood up to turn off the television.
"Come on and eat. You still have a schedule to go to" His older sister, Seohyun, said as he got in the kitchen.
Kyuhyun sat down on one of the chairs and began placing food on his plate. Thoughts of his past with Sungmin flooded his mind and he didn't even notice that he had already piled so much food on his plate until Seohyun stopped him from getting more. "What?"
"I heard the news. You don't have to hide it from me, Kyuhyun" Seohyun said as she let go of his wrist and stood up from her seat to sit beside her brother.
"I still love her, noona, even after what happened before, even if she's already in love with someone else" Kyuhyun whispered, but it was loud enough for his older sister to hear.
"Those are just rumors. If you still and really love her, go after her then. You're an idol after all. You can always find a way to work with her."
"She's a top actress and I'm just the leader of SHINee. There's a huge difference."
"If there was a huge difference, why do you think Minho has his own drama? Nowadays, idols don't just sing and dance. They act and model too. Hello! We're in the 21st century already."
"You got a point."
"Why wouldn't I? I'm smarter than you anyway" Seohyun said and she ended up getting a playful slap on the arm from her little brother.
She was about to hit him back when the doorbell rang and Kyuhyun ran as fast as he could to answer the door and avoid his older sister's hits.
"Kyuhyun! I've got big news for you" Zhou Mi, one and the bubbliest of SHINee's managers, entered the spacious condominium unit and plopped down on one of the sofas. "Hi Seohyun!"
"Hey, Mimi!" Seohyun shouted from the kitchen while washing the dishes.
"Uhmm, come in?" Kyuhyun rolled his eyes as he sat down beside him. "What is it, hyung?"
"You've been chosen to star in your very own drama! You wanna know who you're gonna be working with?"
"Who?! Is it Lee Sungmin?" Seohyun laughed from the kitchen when she heard his little brother's eager reply.
"In your dreams! It's After School's UEE" When Zhou Mi saw the sudden change of Kyuhyun's expression, he felt guilty for what he said.
"I'm sorry, Kyuhyun. I want the two of you to fix things, but it's the producers that choose the stars, not us. We can just hope for the best and be thankful that you finally have the opportunity to become an actor."
"I know, hyung" Kyuhyun sighed. "What's the drama all about?"
"Well, it begins with two people having a one night stand and it ends with them ending up with each other. Typical love story."
"One... Night... Stand? What? No!"
"Calm down, Kyuhyun! It's not like you're really gonna make love to your co-star. Sheesh."
"Just make sure, hyung, or else we won't get you that Prada bag you want for your birthday!"
"Try to forget that and I'm gonna confiscate your Starcraft games!"
"You won't!"
"Try me, Cho Kyuhyun!"
Seohyun could only laugh at the childishness of the two. She could only wish that their parents were with them right now and not on some business trip.

When Kyuhyun arrived on the set of his new drama, he felt nervous because the first scene was the one night stand and he had no idea how actors and actresses film it without getting turned on or something.
While Kyuhyun was reading his script, his mind suddenly wandered off.
Before Sungmin became an actress, she and Kyuhyun were already dating since high school, but when she made her debut a year before graduating from college, she told everyone that she was no longer dating anyone in order to protect Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun, being the loving and understanding boyfriend he was, stayed by Sungmin's side and no one even knew that they were living together, of course, under the care of Seohyun.
Even though a lot of guys got linked to Sungmin, at the end of the day, she would always go back to the man she promised to spend forever with.
When Sungmin found out about Kyuhyun being recruited to become one of SM Entertainment's trainees, she felt really happy and was already planning that they'd publicized their relationship once again when the latter debuts in the future.
Two years before Kyuhyun debuted, Sungmin's agency, SJ Entertainment, offered her to work in the U.S.A. It was a once in a lifetime chance, but the latter knew she had to grab it, even if it meant leaving him. Just like that, their relationship of 9 years got thrown out of the window like a withered flower.
As soon as Sungmin left, Kyuhyun was devastated and almost left SM Entertainment if it hadn't been for his members whom he had grown so close to. The only ones who knew about their relationship were their family, Sungmin's manager, Shindong, SHINee members and managers.
"Kyuhyun! Aish. Look what you did to your make-up" Zhou Mi groaned, making the said man drift away from his daydream and wipe the tears that he didn't even feel flowing from his eyes.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." It was all Kyuhyun could say as he continued wiping his tears.
While Zhou Mi was helping in retouching Kyuhyun's make-up, one of the producers knocked on the door and saved the latter from his manager's lectures about love.
"Mr. Cho, there's been a sudden change in the casting. It's no longer UEE whom you'll be working with. The directors switched her roles with someone else. You're co-star is no-"
"I've been waiting to star in a Korean drama. Thank goodness UEE was nice enough to switch roles with me" A familiar voice echoed down the hall of the studio.
Kyuhyun tried to test his hearing if it was really her voice or his mind was just playing with him. When the owner of the voice finally came into view and entered the dressing room, Kyuhyun couldn't help but cry out tears of joy. "Minnie."
"Kyu?" Sungmin felt the urge to hug the said man, but she knew she had no right to after what she did to him. Rumors about her dating different guys came out, but her heart screamed only one name and it was the same guy she first fell in love with, the one that was in front of her right now.
"They know each other?" The producer was surprised. "I guess there won't be any awkwardness with the first scene and the kissing scenes then" She gave out a little laugh before leaving to check on the props.
"I'll leave you for a while" Zhou Mi said as he left to give the two some time alone.
Silence engulfed the two, but Kyuhyun was the first one to break it as he moved towards Sungmin and hugged her. "I missed you, Minnie."
"Even after what I did, you're still happy that I'm back?" Sungmin broke the hug as she looked into Kyuhyun's eyes.
"I promised you that I'd love you forever, no matter what happens."
"I'm so sorry, Kyu-" Before Sungmin could even finish, the said man had already crashed their lips and she couldn't help but kiss back.
"I don't want to hear your sorry. I want to hear that you still love me, that those rumors about you dating someone else aren't true."
"My heart still and will always beat for that guy I kissed in the rain when I was in high school. You know, that guy who's standing right in front of me right now."
It was all Kyuhyun wanted as they shared another kiss. "You know that one night stand scene? Let's make it realistic."
"What?! We're going to have sex in public?!"
"Not if we're under the covers."
"You're still a perv-" Sungmin moaned as Kyuhyun massaged her buttocks.
"And you know you love me for being one."
"Mr. Cho and Ms. Lee, we're about to film the first scene. Please be out in a minute" The producer said as she knocked on the dressing room's door.
It was already too late for Sungmin to calm herself.
