I read some knitting blogs. It's fun to see what other people make. One woman confessed that she "reads" new knitting magazines. Not thumbs through them as most would, but sits down and reads the patterns as one might read a novel.

I just realized that I do that with cookbooks. I don't read them from cover to cover, but I just spent 30 minutes with my Baking Illustrated. I love reading those recipes. "Hmm..." I think. "I could make that. Oh, but I don't have the cream cheese. Oooh! But what about this one?"

I think I'm going to go make some cookies or something.
