What would you like me to do? E-mail her? "Pay her a visit"?
I'm sure your dad isn't paying your tuition to buy your love. He's doing what he thinks he can to help you. Sometimes, he probably does try to over-compensate because of Mike and your mom...but I don't think he would be doing it to have something to hold against you. Then again, I've never met your dad.
This will pass, I argue with my Mom and Dad all the time and we still talk. Just imagine how much easier it is for you to argue with your parents, because you're not living with them 24-7....you only have to on breaks!
I know it might kill you, but maybe you should just try to make amends. Be the bigger person, you said your dad has way too much pride anyway. And tell your Mom the truth about your Australia thing, tell her you didn't go because you were worried about having somewhere to live.
It's easier to apologize and make amends with your parents, because they can't not accept an apology. It's not like friends. You have Spring Break...you should take some time to think on things. Don't dwell on the negatives entirely though.
Hmm. You're not crazy, but...I dunno. Everyone's parents are different. Instead of working like crazy to pay tuition/housing, I've taken out tens of thousands of dollars in loans to pay offyour parents, because you're not living with them 24-7....you only have to on breaks!

Just...hmm. With parents, especially, it's important to make them think they're right. But. Ugh. I'm not as insightful and good at writing my thoughts like you are.

I'll be online if you need me. :)
