Не только лишь все знают, что Россия использует тоталитарное газовое оружие в войне со свободным западным миром. В смысле - продаёт в Европу газ. Газ - оружие. Продажа газа - война...
Ну ОК, пусть будет так. Что бы противостоять российской агрессии ЕС развивает альтернативные источники и средства доставки газа. Строит с большим успехом свои собственные трубы. Но вот если чуть глубже копнуть, то трубы эти мягко говоря или никому не нужны или бесполезны.
In less than a decade, the European Union has spent €440 million on gas pipelines that have either never been completed or are likely to fail, according to new research published on Monday (22 February).
In total, nearly €5 billion in EU taxpayer money was spent since 2013 on 41 gas projects such as pipelines or import terminals known as “Projects of Common Interest” (PCIs), according to the study by Global Witness, an international NGO.
Of that, an estimated €440 million was splashed on seven gas projects that have either failed or have been put on hold, says Global Witness.

Ясно понятно, что развивать экономику проще всего вбрасывая в неё деньги. Буквально. Не спрашивая о результате - просто дадим денег, что то построим, отчитаемся и будем радоваться профиту. И по факту:

Никому не нужное, бесполезное, укопанное в землю. Но по пути всем удалось немножко заработать. И что то мне подсказывает - теперь это станут продавать Газпрому. Или как минимум пытаться присоединить к Турецкому потоку. Ведь по сути другого газа в Европе нет и не предвидится...

- The Austria-Czech Republic gas interconnector (halted). EU subsidy: €41,993
- The Eastring gas project linking Slovakia to the Bulgarian-Turkish border via Romania and Hungary (indefinitely postponed). EU subsidy: €438,527
