Caucasus, V.3. Revision of the troops' subsistence.

That's the last piece of photos, illustrating the daily routine of our little army on active operation.

1) Good meal is what hiking is all about, right? We ate very well at the camp sites... well, except a couple of times when there was no water.  But the day is so short in late November that we had to use this light time to hike, and the lunchbreaks were always too short to cook something. For these meals, we prepared kind of MCI rations consisting of ice tea, a good piece of bacon, another piece of something sweet, three pieces of sugar, and a handful or rusks.

2) Short breaks between going and... going. Time for everyone to pay special attention to his most important part... and for any normal hiker that's his feet.

3) Bathing resort. Remember, that's not exactly July. (Actually, I did not take photos in the most interesting moments of bathing, though this was a picture of epic proportions. Partly because I was involved, and partly because I was afraid that some kid might be wandering around here by accident, and it would really disturb his delicate imagination.)

Whew! that's all with it. I decided to post these photos here because as time passes I start confusing one campaign with another. Besides, I think it's going to be funny to look at this dairy after a while, when most of these kids get too smart to go hiking.
