Finished !!!! ( Spoilers UNDER the cut)

Sunday at 4. AM ( so actually it was already Mondy!) I finished Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows...

JK Rowling is one of the best writer I have ever read...
I remember when choeur and I said that people who were desperate because it was the last book and they didn't know what to read after, because every book will seem so dull,so hollow compared to HP BUT right after I read the last line it was my exact feeling...
I have to say I feel a bit stupid because I finished very quickly the book and when I woke up the next morning I didn't have anymore pages to read and it made me a bit sad. Yet I don't want to feel guilty about this !

Anyway I loved the book, I couldn't say if it's my favorite or not but I loved how JKR really created an end that wasn't "easy" I mean it's like she put meaning into it. I don't really know how to explain what I feel but I like this end. About Snape I had this idea once that Dumbledore actually asked him to kill him but I thought it wasn't that cause Dumbledore beseeched him not to kill him in the end. But it feels good knowing that he was a good person, well at least that his love for Lily made him helped HP.
My favorite line ? -> NOT MY DAUGHTER? YOU BITCH ! I love it so much, because Molly Weasley rocks here and how she manages to kill bellatrix all by herself when we all know how powerful she is. It shows us that Molly Weasley isn't just a mummy but she's one hell of a fighter!
when I read about Lupin's and Tonk's baby I thought it was like HP story all over again and I somehow felt that Tonks and Lupin would die but I'm happy to know they got married and to know that HP is Ted's godfather too. Fred's dead, that really must be a blow to his twin...
I also loved the end, I mean the epilogue with the kids of Harry and Ginny and Hermione's and Ron's kids. I especially liked James, one of my brother was quite like that !

EDIT : I don't know if any European people felt the same ( I'm saying European cause I guess they studied and know more about it), but all the muggleborn story line was so similar to the Second World War, wasn't it ? With the Order being like the resistance, with the interrogations, with having your family tree being investigated and so on. JK R. really recreated this whole atmosphere of constant fear where it wasn't possible to trust anyone. Actually the Ministry being taken felt really like Vichy to me... Let's hope it shows once more that xenophobia shouldn't exist...

I'm sure many of you will write things about this amazing book way better than me because most of you have this talent for witty writing that I wish I'd have so I'm off to read your entries.

I almost forgot : I can't believe that a NY bookstore sold the book before the normal hour, this is so unfair, I hate people who would do this. It shows such a lack of respect for the writer and to every little thing she took care to make sure no one knew the end. I'm not even talking about Le Parisien and Libération ( french newspapers, actually fucking newspapers!) which published the end !!! This is unbelievable, I wished I was already a lawyer to sue their asses! Sorry to be so angry but I can't believe that some people are this disrespectful !
