I sure showed her, I went to Borders and I bought Spin-Off instead of IK! Ha and also SO THERE. It has fascinating articles about Choosing Your First Wheel ("go whine at people until you can use theirs, decide which one you like best, have about $700") and spinning naturally colored cotton and flick-carding and ergonomics and two or three patterns I'd actually use, which is a lot more than I can say for IK. Well, there's two patterns I'd like to make in Summer IK, but not enough to worry about. Also many many attractively photographed pictures of expensive equipment. Sigh.
A dog nose just pushed open the door and demanded scratches. And then wandered off again, of course leaving the door open. Sigh. I'm going to bed early again tonight! My exciting life. Oooh oooh tomorrow I'm going to go scope out my vacation location! I think there's a good one under the trees toward the hill to the pond.
