you spin me round round baby round round~
o/ It appears that I am going to make it for all of Relay this year! I didn't want to go unless I could stay overnight and I think I may have my shift entirely covered Saturday morning. Now I just need to finish the orange on the big spindle and I can bring the teal stuff. I should work on the purple but I have what is politely referred to as a metric shit-ton and I dunwanna actually depress myself that much. Anyway when I get the teal done I can throw it at someone with a sigh of great relief and pretend I never saw it. (My current plan to get rid of it goes something like 1. Put yarn in paper bag. 2. Go to Soft Horizons. 3. Scream FREE HANDSPUN. 4. Run away before they can open the bag.)
....I should really work on the AibaJun yarn. Hmm. That's on a small toy wheel spindle and the small Ashworth is in use with the Fat Cat Knits BFL so I kind of again dunwanna deal with it. Well, whatever, I need to get one of the current projects (Seraphim, Spring Forward, Ugly Lap Blankie ... probably I'll wait til Seraphim is done because I don't have another #3 with a sharp point except for a Bryspun and the yarn is not fond of plastic needles) done before I start that shawl, and I have at least 100 yards spun already, so it's just a matter of having a spindle free, hunkering down, and doing it. o/ I forge bravely on! although it was kind of annoying to have to remind myself how to spin last night. I haven't done any for a couple of weeks and I kept dropping the spindle like anything. \o/ But I've remembered the knack again and am almost done with the orange! Spinning's easier to do while walking than knitting, at least for me and I hate just walking around and around.
I have no idea if we have a team page or anything. Uhhhh I'll either be at the Sheldon Park booth (probably a 1950's theme again), wandering around looking like a nerd with a bunch of violently teal roving and a large spindle or possibly hanging out at the Suislaw Bank booth, since one of our residents' DiL works there. Oliver won't be there, as people are assholes who cannot control their dogs. The DiL and I were actually talking about that last night, because she also has a dog who can behave himself. ._. And it's only supposed to be eighty-odd on Friday! I live in hope.
