I need a logic check

.....the point I want to make here is that it's really kind of creepy that a guy can make an automaton that looks exactly like a girl only without a face, and it's creepy because she has a blank face -- and Frederick feels this does not speak well for Hollins' claims to want to better humanity. However, I think, but I am not sure, that I am going to end up arguing that it would be less creepy if the thing had a face because then it would look like a human. And, also, that automatons shaped like people are more creepy than automatons shaped like entire houses.

Now, I think the mental processes I am working on here suggest that the problem with the girl with no face is that he can think of and freaking build a machine shaped like a human but without a face, which is not the seat of personality, granted, but close enough to count in a metaphysical debate. And that creeps Frederick out. And it also kind of creeps Walter out but not, I think, in the same way.

I think Frederick's problem is that he is engaging in pathetic fallacy, but is that a good thing or a bad thing? Or just a thing?

Oh hell, it's not like Frederick's paid to be logical.

PEI YI: soooooo XD
MEG: I AM REALLY WORRIED ABOUT THIS, FUCK YOU

And I kind of made Sakkit sad because I started talking about Walter and Frederick later on. They stay together all their lives and Walter dies before Frederick does (Walter's actually younger by about five years, I think but Frederick is too much of a stubborn mule to die) because he has a heart attack while working when he's in his seventies, and Frederick lives until he's like, ninety, and then one day he's talking to someone and just says, I'm tired of this nonsense, and goes to bed and dies an hour later. Neatly. In a clean bed. On his own side, because Walter always had a particular side (that I don't know) and Frederick still slept on the other side. And at the funeral someone starts talking about his partner, hem, and a member of the Younger Generation says, Wait, what? and a member of the Older Generation is like, Oh you kids think you invented sex and gay marriages.

*trundles back into the salt mines* Erin, did Amy give you crap for me? Are you going to bring it to work tomorrow? I'm debating going to the meeting but if you have stuff for me I might.

imaginary beasts, there is a thought process sometimes, meta, steampunk
