Anyway, the dyed roving turned out pretty awesome, only it's going to pretty bright teal overall, I think. I don't think that will be a problem, especially if I drop the finished yarn into a pot of blue dye and tell it to think about where it went wrong in its life.
Looks like I'll be in Portland the afternoon of March 20th, except I'm probably going to be curled in a small ball in Amy's apartment for most of the afternoon that day. Sometimes the zombie will start another download and go back to thinking about nothing in particlular. honooko, do you want to meet up and have a peaceful afternoon of laughing ourselves sick? I'll be in PDX until the 27th.
...I could take Gingetsu but I'm not willing to try to drive in Portland for the first time, which kind of gives me hives to think of, and have to drive and navigate at the same time, and taking transport usually gets one of the voices to tell me an interesting story. (Frederick loev train rides. ._. IDEK.) Also at the current and rising cost of gas, it just makes more sense to spend $42 for tickets and then just take a bus. I forget how much weekly passes are for Trimet. ...twenty dollars, which added up is still less than two tanks of gas at current prices. Now if I can get direct deposit to go, we shall all be nicely set.
