ssbb story: ahahahaAHAHAHAHA orz I am almost to the actual heist and if I was as big a slacker as everybody with reason believes me to be I could leave it where it is right now as a complete story. I almost wish it was allowed to be a serial because this is the perfect place to cut off. However it is not, and I am ganbaruing to the point that despite the fact that the new Novak novel is out, I am not buying it until I finish the stupid story.

knitting: am making a Useful Cloth out of white cotton I have kicking around. A Useful Cloth is not quite a wash cloth, as it is generally bigger and meant to be, well, Useful. Mostly as a method of trying techniques one is dubious about, such as a garter stitch border around the lot of it. I'm still not sure how one effectively does the k2tog nonsense on the inside edge, but it's okay so far. I actually really want to start on another hat but I am attempting to control the urge. Also I have commissioned nyonyo very seriously to get me an Arashi TIME tour tote, in my continuing quest to have the most awesome knitting bag on the face of the earth, and also to have everybody at the knitting store take one quiet step away from me. Also am ganbaruing intermittently on the hand-dye baby blanket. It's about half done and somewhat to my own surprise I am not totally bored stiff by it yet, mostly because of the lace pattern.
