sigh.
just when an opinion is needed, I am stuck with
1. a man who likes everything
2. a dog who doesn't care.
seriously, cecil will say anything is pretty unless it's like, bright orange and has squiggly purple bits on top.
also grafting garter stitch can blow me. The hell of it is I get about halfway through and just when I think, okay, this is doable, I fuck it up and hah, not so much with the fixing it on alpaca. To make things worse I can do an invisible seam on a bound-off edge. orz
Ended up fulling it (q: what is the difference between fulling and felting? a: felting is what happens when you full around with it too much) and it's drying right now. Drapey alpaca fabric is VERY DRAPEY, so with any luck fulling it will control some of the stretch. =_= if I'm ever dumb enough to do this pattern again with alpaca I am totally making it with worsted yarn and large needles and then felting the jesus out of it.
