started the Urchin hat, discovered after one wedge that I did not in fact have 100g of handspun and probably have about 25g, screamed really loudly in pain and then dug out the baby alpaca and am knitting it triple-strand of white, light green and dark green to get to bulky weight. It so far is knitting up very quickly and easily, although I am not sure if I will ever visit a climate where a bulky weight alpaca beret will be any use. Maybe we'll go to the mountains or something. In the meantime it has been chilly in the morning and I think it will look superclassy anyway.
