started coworker's gloves. discovered halfway through the first needle of the first cable row that my brilliant cable rib pattern had a sliiiiight problem called 'Meg is an idiot' which means I said something I won't repeat and ripped them out. Again. (I had a fifteen stich repeat for a glove worked over 45 stitches ... unfortunately when I was working out the pattern I drew out 'cable rib cable' and forgot, I think people will agree with me that this was really idiot of me, forgot to plan for the rib after the second cable.) I soldier on bravely.
Went to Oakway to get money to throw at rent and stopped by Borders, planning to get Cast off! by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, but stupidly stopped by the magazine section and walked out with a magazine called Simply Knitting! which is

b. dumb as it can get although there was a couple good sweater patterns
