still writing hopelessly away -- it's at nearly 4000 words and I like to have stories be UNDER 3000, otherwise I get upset and confused and wonder if it's ever going to end and whine a lot at poeple on Gmail and AIM.
Incidentally, the funny thing about this story is that when
amei said I could join her for the project, she didn't realize that Chez Rawlings/Simons/Kelly is full of autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses -- I mean, off the top of my head, and not counting my stepfather because I'm not sure of what he has, and counting the Portland sattelite household we have
- 1 post polio syndome plus dementia
- one Bechet's disease (wiki here), plus suspected post-polio
- two epileptics (one spontaneous remission in childhood -- my older sister -- one current, which would be My Damn Twin)
- two polycystic ovarian syndromes
- one fibromyalgia
- general panic disorders and depression bullshit
- Rawlings Disorder, which is clinically described as 'being sort of crazy in the head' and is associated with being descended from Joseph Rawlings.
- and a dog who's had pancreantitis twice.
The story is about this guy and his boyfriend with the autoimmune disease that gets so bad he has to go into cold sleep until they find a cure.
lol writing what you know.
also the dog is alternately going !!! you aren't supposed to be here today?? and staring at Cecil in the faint hope that he will go outside and do interesting things, as God intended him to do on Saturdays.
