Basically this guy comes to teach at this high school and meets the younger brother of the guy he had this horrible gay crush on in high school. Younger brother had it for him but bad but never felt the need to mention it, being of the noble and stupid variety. Things happen. Apparently uke was in some sort of accident and used it as an excuse to quit archery. Old crush and brother are sons of a Japanese archery dojo.
Seme is the high school kid, which in Takanaga-sensei terms means uke looks nearly legal instead of like, eight years old. Seme goes bonkers a couple of times and gets slapped -- I can't say I blame uke, who is named, I wish I could make this shit up, Mochizuki Haru, and when I say that I mean 望月春. It kind of killed me a little with joy. Anyway, there's some issues with the seme and his brother Reiichirou (礼一郎 -- yeah, I know), who is apparently the type who is effortlessly good at everything he does and makes Tsukasa (司), the seme, want to hurt him a lot.
The main crisis of the story involves Tsukasa thinking that Haru and Reiichirou are going to get together (they were never together in the first place because Haru is really kind of a wet tissue sometimes -- GOD he gave up archery because of it! There had better be some trauma I'm not getting here) and having a hysterical tantrum in the quiet of his own room. Meanwhile Haru declines Reiichirou's offer (as far as I'm able to tell Reiichirou saw his brother kissing Haru and got all dog-in-manger-ish) in favor of Tsukasa, bursting into tears, of course, and then the next morning Tsukasa comes over to wish him happiness with Reiichirou and Haru thumps the holy hell out of him. Thereafter sex on the floor and ending with Haru going Man I was just thinking I'd like to shoot a bow and Tsukasa dragging him off by the scruff of his neck to the dojo. He shoots a bow! It is very significant.
Plus the omake where Haru and Reiichirou are shooting together and Tsukasa is glowering in the background and later tries to sex Haru in the dojo (I think? Possibly not in the dojo itself) and then when Haru goes CAN WE TAKE THIS TO AN ACTUAL BED PLEASE tries to get Haru to wear the hakama home. He has a Thing, it seems.
The blurb calls it a sentimental love comedy but it's not very comedic. I dunno if you want to get it or not, since i don't think you like 年下攻め. Other than that, if you feel the need for mild archery porno, I'd give it a try.
