ATTENTION ALL FANDOM: there is a severe lack of Auron badassery in this fandom. STOP WORRYING ABOUT ORGY13 AND GIVE UNTO ME THE AURON BADASSERY.
SERIOUSLY. "You look like you need a guardian." AAAAAAAH.
ALSO, THE MEG HAS SPOKEN. HENCEFORTH, IF YOU ARE MICKEY, A GROUP OF HEARTLESS IS A SHADOW OR A SORROW. IF YOU ARE RIKU, A GROUP OF HEARTLESS IS A CLUSTERFUCK.
I still have a couple left to do but the person who wanted the HOLIC doll-twins needs to think of another prompt and MY GOD people DNAngel/KH2 crossover feeding frenzy, much?
Amy: I TOLD YOU.
Meg: ?
Meg: whatever it was I didn't do it!
Amy: the DNAngel and KH thing.
Amy: IN YOUR HEAD AND OFF THE LJ.
Amy: ....not that you have an OT3 or anything
Meg: DUDE
Meg: THE GAME PUSHES IT SO HARD
Amy: :D?
Amy: XD
Ingrid, Shadow Hearts, Halley, kitten:
It's not that there's enough food for the rest of them. But if he doesn't feed it the others will, and they need the food more than the cat does. So he feeds it; little bits and scraps. He likes the way it bolts them down, crouched over the bits of bread and cheese, whiskers flat back.
It's so little, but he's afraid to get to like it in case it dies. In case it leaves him. (Like Mum did.)
Aster, Shadow Hearts Covenant, Yuri and Blanca being retards:
"What are you doing?" said Karin, watching Yuri and Blanca sitting on their haunches in front of each other. Yuri had a look of intense concentration on his face. Blanca watched him with an expression of equal parts resignation and irritated amusement.
"Teaching each other tricks," said Yuri. "I think."
"...What?" said Karin.
"See," said Yuri. "I had this friend with this theory. She said that we don't really teach dogs tricks, we get taught to give them things if they do something."
Blanca flattened his ears, dipped his head to sniff at Yuri's closed fist, and then put his paw over the other fist. Yuri opened it to reveal a piece of dried meat.
Blanca wagged his tail. Yuri beamed.
Becky, Riku post KH2 in Sora's party, bad weather:
He hates the rain and he hates the snow. He had enough in Hollow Bastion, and then he had another double dose of it waiting for Sora to wake up. He remembers walking through the empty halls of Hollow Bastion, going outside and looking up at the lazy white drifts of snow falling quietly down. He used to bring Kairi out too, to see the way her hair would have white shining on it and then diamond bits of water.
Riku figures the real reason why he hates rain and snow is that it makes him think really lame things. In the dark city, fighting Roxas-not-Sora, he couldn't tell if he had rain dripping down his face or if he was crying.
He huddles closer to the shelter of the shed. They're hiding out here until the torrents of rain stop. Let up. At least let them see more than five feet ahead, said Kairi wearily. He's damp and miserable and he hates the rain and he thinks it's going to snow because every bone in his body aches. It's weird but he kind of misses Naminé. She hated rain and snow even more than he did.
Sora stirs besides him, deeply asleep despite the water dripping from his hood. He's getting a cold from the constant exposure and Riku supposes wearily that he and Kairi will catch it next. To hell with it, he thinks, and wraps his arms around Sora and Kairi. If he's going to die from a cold from Sora, he's at least going to earn his death. Kairi and Sora are really warm and it's nice to be close to them, in entirely different ways. He pushes his face in the nape of Sora's neck and breathes his scent in.
He wakes up sneezing, but he's still pretty happy.
Yukie1013, Kingdom Hearts 2, Ansem mocking Riku for his denial:
Foolish boy, hisses the voice around him. Foolish foolish boy. Admit the weakness of your heart.
He digs his fingers into his ears. He's not listening not listening not listening -- listening to Sora call for him. He's yelling. What did you do to Riku.
Nothing, thinks Riku hysterically. He didn't do anything to me. Go away, you idiot! I don't want you --
-- 'to forget me', finishes the voice. This is the fault of having a heart, foolish boy. Rip it out. Every root and branch, lest your weak heart betray you.
It's my heart, thinks Riku childishly, and somehow he finds a small strength in that idea. It's my heart. He can take root in it. If he wants to. But he doesn't.
Pengie, GinRan, no prompt so I um ... yeah.<
Gingetsu never really bothers playing video games with Ran, even though he could if he wanted to, and has a system he spent an ungodly amount of money on. There's not a lot of point because Ran wins even when he's not really paying attention. (Once Gingetsu's visor played a vaguely annoying shadow game of Tetris all night, which turned out to be Ran dreaming about playing it and his brain broadcasting it.) It's a lot more interesting to keep one eye on the screen as Ran plays through roleplaying games or puzzle games and most of his attention on the way Ran is curled, half on his lap, half on the couch, as he plays. He strokes Ran's soft black hair as if he was a cat and watches his hands on the controller, and tries to remember every moment, as hard as he can.
moonsheen: RikuNami, no prompt but as she says, WRONG IS THE NEW RIGHT:
She uncurls his hands carefully from their fists. "Hush," she says, "Dear one. Dear one." He's shakiing and trying to look away. "What's your name?" she says, stroking his hands, his forearms, his biceps under the heavy leather of his coat. It's dragon leather and he killed the thing himself. Her hands are on his shoulders and pushing his hood aside. He flinches and tries to pull away, but she will not be refused. "Tell me."
"Riku is dead," he says, in a thin voice. "Riku is dead. I promise. I promise. I killed him."
"Yes," she says, stroking his white hair. "But what's your name?"
"It's not Riku," he says wildly, his gold eyes staring past her. "It's not!"
"Of course not," she whispers. "Of course not. Hush. Hush." She pulls his head down to her shoulder. He's so much bigger than she is and he fits into her arms like a small, tired child. "It's all right now, dearest," she whispers in his ear. "I'll believe you."
He clings to her, shaking. "I don't want to fall asleep," he says. "I don't. Riku had to die, didn't he? I had to do it."
"No, he didn't," she says. "But it's all right now. Trust me. Hush." She kisses his forehead and strokes his hair for a long time until he relaxes, and then gently, as gently as she can, she pulls the first link of his memory.
Ysabet wants Doumeki/Yuuko because, apparently, she hates me:
He looks down at her hand on his chest with an expression of polite interest. "Is this your fee?" he says.
He's a nice polite boy and she's always liked nice polite boys, especially when they're tall and broad-shouldered. "It could be," she says.
He leans down and kisses her on the lips.
Tari wanted Steampunk boys:
Walter has never let his considerable affection for Frederick blind him to his faults. Frederick can cry at will. Walter has personally see him do it. His eyes half-filled with crystal tears and he'd bent attentively to the lady reading poetry and five minutes later his eyes had been as dry as a desert. Frederick lives in a world of hoarding interesting things and occasional low cunning involving the repayment of perhaps imaginary incidents.
The thing is, Walter knows, is that he's nearly as bad as Frederick, if perhaps in different ways: he's absent-minded and selfish and he likes his own way as much or perhaps more than Frederick. But they get along. He thinks of pointy gears meshing together and smiles to himself.
Frederick lowers the French mechanical journal he's reading to Walter and eyes him suspiciously. "What."
"Nothing," says Walter. "Nothing's wrong at all."
Mocha wanted Saix/Demyx but she probably felt me glaring at her so she amended it to AkuRoku. Posted first on an anon meme but I figure people will go OH HAY I KNOW THAT RETARD anyway. (item: it took her two guesses and she'd decided it wasn't me and guessed the other one. AHAHAHA. Ha.):
"I can be the lock," Axel crooned softly, crowding Roxas against the wall. "And you can be the key. Won't that be nice?" His eyes, unnatural and green, glowed slightly in the dark. His hand slid up Roxas' chest.
Roxas lowered his eyes. "Do what you like," he said indifferently. Axel slid to his knees, his eyes laughing up at Roxas. Like broken green glass, Roxas decided. His hair should have been sharp but it was oddly soft on Roxas' hands.
Axel scraped his teeth on Roxas' hip, under the coat, along the edge of his pants. "Unlock me," he hummed. "Unlock me."
cornucopian wanted Sora+Roxas=LUV (names of different breed groups via Yukie1013's Ansem voice):
"What do you call a group of Heartless?" said Sora, to nothing in particular.
....well, it depends on the breed, I suppose. Like the little ones are a penumbra. Or the Neo-Shadows, those are an eclipse. Why?
"I was just thinking about it. Because the King calls a group of Heartless a sorrow but Riku calls them a clusterfuck."
Silence from inside his heart. Finally, Roxas observed clinically, Axel and Riku were really too fucking alike for their own good.
"I think it's our fault," said Sora practically.
