NORMAL PUSH RING MY ASS.
What am I doing wrong? ;_;
I still sort of can't get over who Halley's dad apparently is, though. I THOUGHT HIS MOM HAD MORE TASTE.

Can't get it to go as in can't get the ring to start, or it goes and you can't win at it? I...vaguely remember trying about five times at it, walking away, trying another five times, and finally getting it.
My walkthrough says this (though I can't for the life of me remember what this ring looked like):
> Question : I can't do the Push Ring ?!
< Answer : Push Ring is the most difficult ring in my opinion. Within a
given amount of time, you must move the indicator to the wave, by hitting
the X button QUICKLY, CONTINUOUSLY, REPEATEDLY and REGULARLY. One word :
"SMASHING" ! You can't miss one of those four things. You must be fast,
but with regular speed. If you just hit slower a little, the indicator will
quickly run back to the beginning. Another difficulty is to keep the
indicator in the wave. Sometimes, if you are "lucky", you can move the
indicator to the wave before the time is out. And now you must find all the
way to keep it in the wave until the time is out. In this case, just
continue hitting the button to move the indicator OVER the wave by a
suitable space, neither so far nor so near. When the time is less than 1
second, leave the button. The indicator will run back. If your luck is big
enough, it may stop in the wave in time. Push Ring has only one wave.

Not that I know what your case is. Are you still playing Shadow Hearts?
