SIX FUCKING MONTHS WITHOUT MY SWEET FRIEND NICOTINE GODDAMMIT

I kept walking around in Portland going, You know, the sun's shining, we're walking around ... damn, I could go for a -- and Amy would go OH HELL NO.

I am a good kitty and demand porn dammit.

Last night at Tay's she made me watch a lot of Shadow Hearts Covenant and especially the Man Festival. Poor Yuri. Poor, poor Yuri. >DDDD

Anyway, we got the pictures done today and the picture we are going to print out and give to our mother with the CD of pictures is us back to back and making horrible faces. Amy, if she comes up to spend the week while you're in the hospital it'll be over Mother's Day, you realize.

So didn't get TRC 9-13 because found Sailor Fuku ni Onegai! 3, Vampire Knight 3 (jr high antics for the win ♥ also sidestory involving Kaname nursing Yuuki through Convenient Minor Illness and doing the Forehead Touch Thing because Hino-sensei clearly understands what her target audience wishes to see), Fairy Cube 2 (which still haven't opened but promises to be gay) and Penguin Kakumei 1-3, which is by the chick who did Land of the Blindfolded.

Basically the heroine wants to be an idol manager and has this odd ability to see if people have the ability to become stars. She sees wings on their backs and depending on the amount of um star power? you know what I mean, the wings are large or small. She meets this guy who is in the stable of an agency called Peacock and all the boys are ranked according to ... I dunno, popularity? experience? talent? something? and the ranks go from Penguin ('a bird that can't fly,' says the hero quite simply) to Peacock.

Most of the time she sees penguin flippers on the hero's back but sometimes he bursts into huge, elegant wings. (there's this scene where she's thinking about what he must think and the illustation is a penguin looking up at a peacock soaring in the air -- despite my strong doubts as to if peacocks can fly.) Also, for reasons which would probably make more sense if I looked up the words, he has to crossdress while he's at school (his foster [?] brother wears glasses and ruffles up his hair, though, so it might just be a disguise or something -- his foster brother is awesome, he's totally narcoleptic and also Peacock rank, I believe, and when he's being an idol his hair falls in satiny black order and he kind of looks at people from under his eyelashes) and the heroine, when being his manager, has to crossdress so, says the head of the agency, there isn't a boy and a girl hanging out together all the time. Also she moves in with Hero and his foster brother. I think they surprise each other in the bath an average of 1.348 times per volume. Also there is this older idol who goes ♥♥♥♥ at her and wishes her to be his manager even though he thinks she's a boy.

It is cute and retarded and about idols, do not judge me. >:E I really like sensei's artstyle, it's very elegant and restrained and her characters can look hot and sweet at the same time, if you get what I'm saying. (I have this thing, I like the ones who use the smaller pen sizes and are careful about how much goddamn screentone they use. Also I cannot stand it when faces are out of proportion -- which is a stupid thing to say but like some people will do the really round eyes or .... um.... Nana is one case in point, Get Backers is the other. Both styles seriously make me feel like someone is scraping their fingernails down a chalkboard.) Also, random penguin and puppy illustrations FOR THE WIN.

Sakki, they had a carpload of Final Fantasy stuff AND the Magna Carta artbook but no SuiV. :< (I was all, GODDAMMIT NO I DON'T NEED THE FF7AC GUIDE OR THE KH2 POSTCARD BOOK.)
