I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S MISOGYNISTIC (which yes, it is -- because 'omega' males, who can give birth, are like slinking around scared for their assginity and waiting for a big strong alpha male to bludgeon their objections away with their giant dick -- they go into heat! and all their objections to -- oh forget it, I thought we went through this in like, the seventies) OR JUST KIND OF STUPID BUT IN ANY CASE PLEASE STOP THAT BEFORE I ACTUALLY HAVE AN ANEURYSM.

I LIKE HET DAMMIT. I like it a lot actually! I just don't like it when you're pretending that - that - *claws face* this is like every terrible paranormal romance from 1995 went and had an assbaby with low budget bad gay porn and threw in every terrible thing about how women just need a man to make them whole, except since it's two dudes it's like every person who can have a baby needs to have one to be complete. It's terrible on so many levels, you guys. I don't understand it. Half the time it's not even sexy. It's just ... terrible and sexist and oh god. Oh god. Why is this happening in multiple fandoms all at once.
If this has happened to Tony Stark, please don't tell me. I'm sure I'll run across it soon enough and then you'll know because of the dry heaving sobs coming up from the Meglair.
(I also have strong feelings about the 'bdsm au' fic trope which I am going to spare you because you can basically start from the top of this post and just mentally find and replace 'alpha and omega' with 'dom and sub' and 'this is not bdsm, this is assuming doms are coded male and subs are coded female and let's just stop and think about that for a minute'. Christ. CHRIST.)
My incipient death by stroke aside, I am down to like eight rows of the body for Terra! And I got Inception from the library! I mean to get up and go to the store soon (yesterday I was a giant cat and until I went to meet with Amy and Dude I basically was on the bed, asleep or trolling for fic. It was beautiful. First quiet weekend in a month. Which is great because tomorrow is going to be hell on wheels at work) but after that if you are on AIM there will probably be hysterical liveblogging of first the process of discovering that no Meg's current Ubuntu install cannot read DVDs and fixing that, and then of the actual movie. It will be magical.
(Also I got the best print at Orycon and someone needs to remind me to take a picture of it. You know the guy who does the dragons and kitten pictures? he did one of Kirk and Spock. I was like, FUCK YES, THIS BITCH IS MINE.)
