Obviously I am thinking about this in lieu of cleaning as to be ready for Sunday. I am super excited for Black and White, mostly because this is the first game since Ruby/Sapphire that Amy and I are playing at the same time. In all fairness I took out two loads of trash, did three loads of laundry and two loads of dishes, so I don't feel terribly lazy. Now I'm working on The Test Knit, which is reaching that hilarious black hole stage where one measures wistfully every two or three rows and wonders why it still only is five inches long. I'm really pushing to get this done by tomorrow afternoon, so I can throw it at the shop and devote myself to drunken Pokemon shenanigans.
wait, now it's five and a half inches long ONLY AN INCH TO GOOOO. Then twelve rounds of charts and six rounds of ribbing, and then ONTO THE PLATYPUSSS.
The lecture Thursday night was really interesting; he talked about writing life and the relationship he has with his editor, which is partly, it sounds like, brotherly, partly professional and a little bit spousely.
In conclusion: Gokaiger, I love you already but please for the love of God just pick one ship and stick with it. Right now all I have in my head is Red sitting around in the cabin with a face like :3, regarding his pretty things with unspeakable smugness.
